Welcome Bladeforum members to my new and improved sharpening service. With this new service comes the same high quality edges you have come to expect but with more sharpening options that will cater to the custom knife collector, Cooks-both home and professional, and those that just need sharp tools.

This service specializes in Japanese traditional cutlery, kitchen cutlery, pocket knives, Razors, and everything in between from Axes to industrial cutting tools. Come find out what having the sharpest tools is like!

There are three levels of sharpening offered,
level 1 is the basic machine sharpening providing factory like finishes with a consistent high level of sharpness.

Level 2 offers hand sharpening on waterstones. This level is often used for higher performance kitchen cutlery or personal cutlery where you want a more controlled bevel appearance and level of refinement.

Level 3 again offers hand sharpening but for traditional Japanese cutlery (yanagi, Deba, etc) This will also be the level used for Particle Metallurgy steels. These steels require more time to sharpen by hand at a higher difficulty level so it gets its own category. PM steels and damaged blades in $3 price bracket.

Pricing for these levels of sharpening as follows,

Level 1: $3 up to 10 inches, $5 over 10 inches

Level 2: Folders $2 per inch, (prices per blade style) Paring $4, Petty $6, Boning/Chef/Santoku $8, Slicers & 10in+ chef knives $10

Level 3: $2-3 per inch

Razors: $10-20 price determined by condition.

Note: At all levels knives and tools are sharpened for optimal performance.
