Nice one Riad!! Did you get that from Nuge?
That's Harsh Guys...I have sold a ton of knives...ask Ed
Cool, John. Send me an email or pm with the "available" list. (Fingers crossed.)
me too..lets see that list!!
I'm down for the list,too,
-Vince :)
Hate when Ed uses that Vulcan Mind meld thing...oh the pain
While you guys are waiting for Nuge's list of available Bose's, you can look at this one. :D
Tony says he has made these shadow patterns since the 70's. This one is a 4.5" Backpocket with a CPM-10V droppoint blade covered in green canvas Micarta. Tony uses a stainless washer that is .100" thick to peen the pivot pin against. This knife is stronger, lighter, and more durable than one made with a bolster/liner configuration.
This one is going to a real outdoorsman in Tennesee and will be used hard!

I'm having heart palpitations
harrumph! I can just FEEL that knife in my hand! It should be in my hand...(grump!)
(the recipient is a very lucky person from Tennessee!)
All right, the nitro just kicked in....Kerry,Thanks for showing us.
Tony, was the blade steel, and handle material the customers choice ?,or did he just leave it up to you to create a really gorgeous hard working performance knife?
Either way it's a bullseye.
-Vince
Kerry, here's the Mom with a step child

He almost just ran away from home, but the Dad got him at the bus stop.
That nitro is some strong stuff.
-Vince
All the knife anyone would ever need
I've got knife chills
The blade steel is CPM 10V. It's a very high wear resistant tool steel that's very hard to grind. The fellow sent me a piece to make this knife. He's the real deal and he will put this knife to the test. No pouch for this guy!
Tony ,Thanks for the reply, always interested in anything Bose related.
The D-2 Bose knives I have seem to be way good enough for my cutting chores.
No pouches for any type of in the pocket folder for me,at all.
Think about it,by the time you take the pouch out, open it,take the knife out of it,then you have to place the pouch somewhere,in your pocket,on a table, throw it on the ground, whatever! Then you can open the blade on the folder,by the time all is said and done, whatever needed to be cut,is impatiently ripped or something,by someone else.
Plus, don't do no fumbling around with no snappy super sharp Bose knives, either, they'll bite, unforgiving to the flesh,NOPE,no pouches for me
Tony ,that shadow that Kerry posted last night is a really nice knife.Someday I'll get one like that.Do you or Reese ever make knives like that for the table at Blade ?
-Vince
Edited in....And think about this, too,if all that pouch BS went down in front of a non -knife person, they may ask about the knife, and then what, you're gonna say "I carry it in a pouch 'cause I'm scared",LMAO,even a no nothing about knives non-knife person, would probably either say to themselves,"It don't make no sense,a pattern of an older style knife made heavy duty, super strong with performance steel and superior cutting ability (that's what he just said),and he's scared to carry it cause it'll get ruined"
I am in construction, and do a lot of painting, too. You guys should see some of the enviornments I carry my custom slipjoints, and Bose slipjoints (notice how that is in a seperate category) in.Some of you guys just might get scared.
Now,if I could only start shooting and cleaning game around here.....
-Vince Out
Well said Vince, hope Glassman read this. I think what you were trying to say is pouches are for GIRLS.
Hey Vince, when you carry a straight knife, do you use the sheath or just carry it in your teeth, pirate style? AArrrrr!!
Really like that micarta bp Tony.
Yo Ed,if you read real careful, you'll see,I said Folder,no pouch.Besides,I cut my lip bad once with that pirate move :)
And listen guys, don't get me wrong,on days when I think I'm gonna be knee deep in BS,I carry accordingly. That's why I gots to gets me one of those ALL MICARTA Bose knives, with 4 or 4.5" preference
Listen to this, getting picky, right ?? LOL,I'm a patient man,I sure have some nice knives to EDC rotate in the mean time
Yeah Tony, that Shadow is really nice,You need your house painted ?

C'mon lady! I said I was gonna buy "Bose", not booze!!!
;)
OOOH !,Another comedian, just what the Dr ordered.....
Sanding chips/spackle chips, play hell on the bark of the stag, anything with a polish is better for me.
Some days I carry stag knives if I don't think I'm gonna get into that kinda stuff.
My job,is,that I take care of ritsy ditsy peoples houses,we dabble in all kinds of little projects,I am a house painter by trade, but I do a lot of re-modeling and contracting.
There are a lot of days I wish it weren't that way,I'd carry all 3 of my stag Bose knives at once.
Today,I left the house thinking I was going to be spackling, but after I left, there was a change of plans.
I'll get me a Bose knife that's suited for my work.
In the mean time, you guys can break my horns all you want,I'll be carrying my Bose knives as much as possible, without deliberatly abusing them, and no friggin pouches,OK ??
-Vince
Elliott,
Now that was funny!!! "Bose not Booze"!
Kent
That was pretty funny,I'm a tad healthier looking though,at least I'd like to think.
A Bose would sure bring a lot of Booze, too, how do they say it..."On the secondary market",Thats where people stick it to other people
This though,was funny,A guy w/ a T Bose 4" BP,and he's carrying a CV Case
Well,maybe not funny,but sad.

Vince, just goofing around. If I was better about keeping my knife, change, and keys away from each other, I'd never carry a knife in a pouch either. But the knife always seems to end up with the other stuff. Nice thing about a BP is that I never carry anything but a knife or wallet in my back pocket. I do have a few Bose pocket knives that I carry with no pouch. One is a stag WT in 440V. Another is the swayback jack I whittle with. Taking a knife out of a pouch is a pain in the butt. Listening to people whine about the condition of a knife I'm trying to sell or trade is a bigger pain in the butt, so I try to keep knives in good shape when I carry them. At least I'm using and enjoying them and not just leaving them in a drawer.
There is no truth to the rumor that I carry my knife pouch/purse waiver in an envelope.
Well, as you know, Vince, I'm an old geezer on a pension. And since I retired from law enforcement and no longer can take bribes or otherwise pad my income from illegal activity, I have to be careful with my carry knives.
Besides, if I don't support Case where's Tony going to get his other revenue stream from?
(The preceding were the ramblings of a deranged old man and are not to be taken seriously. For further information please contact the law firm of Robuck, Fewpop and Thomason or alternatively Dewey, Cheatham & Howe.)
Ed,
I got some pants & shorts, that have a built in pocket, for a knife,in the left pocket, they work great.I am a bit obsessed about putting the knives mixed in with pocket coins.I try to avoid that
The BP,I had carried that only a few days, last week,as luck would have it,it got more marks in a few days, than some oithers did in weeks, just the way it went though.
That 4.5" shadow is set up for hard work, period
I also know guys who use the pouches,'cause they say thier sweat makes the knives get all peppered up in the trough.
I just can't get into the fumbling with a pouch
And Elliott,I don't want to see no more posts about carrying a Case,or send that BP to NY,to me. Please :)
I hear you load & clear Donny Brasco,I got to a point though,I'd go to leave the house with a production slippy, and say, what am I nuts. What the heck good are these if you're not gonna use 'em.My Father died when he was 58,I hope I go a bit more, but life is just too short.Carry 'em,so what,a couple scratches,I'll buy your scratched Bose knives,OK ?
-Vince
Now, now, Vince, we don't want the other members of the forum who aren't as fortunate as we are to own one or more Bose knives to think we're all hoity-toity like your customers, do we? :p
(I have Reese's Sowbelly in my back pocket today. And yesterday Tony's BP was so placed. Either or both of them will be available when they are pried from my cold dead fingers. ;) )
Vince,
Just poking fun at you...and I'm Jealous! I am carrying a slippie today, but it's not a Bose. Have (to me many..) O/O..but Reese is still conteplating doing them. -Just kidding.. I'm sure that they'll come. And...I can't wait!--So--to make this even longer...why don't you just sell me some of your "beat up-paint spilled Bose"! Fat chance!
