I've been carrying it almost every day for about a year and a half. The coating on the A2 blades is scuffed up, The ivory is darker on one side that the other and when its warm and humid one of the blades is lazy. Its perfect. I'll try to post before and after pics.Quote:

And I do have a Tony Bose wharncliffe trapper similar to the one posted above (but in CPM 440V)--if I feel that I really need to carry a Bose.
The trouble is, when I leave it at home, it keeps calling:
"eeeeedddddddddd-- come get me--take me with you---
I wanna go to work.....".
So it's easier to just leave it in my pocket (leather slip case, of course). :D
It gets some work occasionally.
Seriously, I have come to the conclusion that life is too short
to leave a knife like this at at home.

Not mine, but some of you may be able to guess the who the owner is since I think it was posted on another forum. (posted here with his permission)
Same pattern as Greg's. Bone was jigged and dyed by Reese and I'm told it is the only single blade model of that pattern made to date. It is 5 3/8" in the closed position.

Re: the pearl 5 blade. I'd never carry a 5 blade and I would never carry a pearl handled knife of any kind. You must mean a different Ed. I own one pearl knife. Tony's 4 blade congress serial #1. Even if it were made out of rubber I still wouldn't dare carry it!
