S110V, CPM3V? Both would rock as a sprint run then Vanax 35 for full production?

ooh yeah forgot about 3v
I'm hoping M4 is still in the race.
Maybe a third collaborator is coming into the game........Busse will bring the INFI!:)
Im going with some type of duratec steel maybe the 20cv that Hinderer uses.
well it's gotta be better than vanax 35, they already used that in the 551.
joejooee, that would be Elmax from Bohler-Uddholm that was used on the 0551. Vanax 35 was originally spec'd, but problems with supply led to a switch for production.
ok so whats in the 550? elmax also? I saw one of them was s35vn
Man, you took the words right out of my mouth. Infi! Or some new supersteel that Kershaw/ZT and Rick have been staying up nights developing and testing, (testing by using it to push cut through inferior steel blades, and chop through industrial rolls of silica carbide sandpapers, just to check toughness and edge-holding...) Well, I mean, it's possible, right...? :)
Yep, S35VN in the 0550. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...highlight=0550
adamantium
I'll guess S35VN and 3.625" for the win. ;)
ZDP-189? YXR7? CPM10v?!
I love Kershaw's CPM-D2. I'd take that in a heartbeat.
Anywhere from 3 to 3.5 would be pure awesomeness. So this is the reason I held off on a 551...
It will be the high tech ZNP710 probably the best steel you could ever dream of. You can get this stuff so sharp that it is almost non existent.
