Looking forward to meeting you in Michigan, BT.
You mean Ohio?
Unless Rick Hinderer has moved the Annual Gathering/Picnic/All Saints Throwdown, yes,he means Ohio,Biker Trash.
Plan to meet ya'll there! ;) unless something slips or breaks....I'm off work & off-call....and since I can't go to Blade,it'll take something SIGNIFICANT to keep me away.
And by SIGNIFICANT,I mean: If we each receive a personal email from Rick Hinderer hisself, saying:
Ya'll ain't invited,dammit!
We don't need no steenking old hippie/handloader/rebel/stagerigger/outlaw/paramedic/mercenary/nurse/Search&Rescue/biker types :grumpy:,so Gnarly and Alphahunter and Biker Trash and tower2 and banana-clip and KFU and iacchus and Reeek and Thrill and Knifenut et al (and I do mean:et al,dammit!) will be arrested at the front gate ,for angle parking in a parallel universe, for playing way too much Floyd and Priest and Zeppelin ,priapism, and various & sundry Crimes against the Empire, not excluding possible inner ear infections, and other dastardly deeds for which the Statute(s) of Limitations have not ran out yet :o.
(And ending with:  This Legal Disclaimer/Disinvite prepared by the Law Firm Of Variant,Deviant,Miscreant and Mutant,P.S.C.,Attorneys-At-Law.)
Just so we're all playing this backwoods concerto from the same sheet of music, mayhaps I should repeat the Criteria For Determining If Anyone EXCEPT Rick Hinderer's Opinion Really Matters...very simple,really....:D.....just Two Salient Points to judge by:
(1.) Am I sleeping with them?
and
(2.) Did I take 'em to raise?
Otherwise: their sillyass opinion doesn't matter, and will not affect our decisions.
By the way,our friend: sveqs  (the Mad Hungarian Knife Vulture) is cruising around over here on Blade....
Just wait for a regular post, Like I did on yours Dave. :) That said, I'm intrigued by this bearing system. I saw the video of the dude hanging his kinfe out (forget the Kershaw model) and releasing the lock. The blade just swings back and forth. M question would be - on a framelock, how is the blade held closed and in place for a fast deployment? Is it by making a strong detent ball in the lock bar? Thanks!
That's the Spanto blade but hand ground.

This should be a good week; I'm sure Thomas will share some more pics.:) What you got Thomas?
The lack of activity must be the calm before the storm.
