I don't use it and don't feel the need. Do you and why?

    There she is! badass!

I have some but not applied any as yet.

I think they come from the stable with loctite on the pivot, all the new XM's I've purchased came that way.

My fav XM - the spanto has been cleaned several times and has a clean and un-loctited pivot - it does slip though and loosen after a few hard flips, a quick adjustment with my thumb gets it back in seconds.

I keep it that way for scale swapping - gives the knife a whole new feel and my "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome has me changing scales too frequently.

If I can ever decide to keep one scale on my EDC longer than a week I will likely use locitie to keep the pivot at the sweet spot once I've dialled it in

I use it, keeps the pivot tension secure. My 3.5" non flipper was constantly loosening.

I have not noticed any loosening yet on my 3" or 3.5" but I will now be paying more attention...

haven't used any loctite on the hinderers, and haven't noticed any movement in the pivot as of yet.

A couple of mine escaped the ranch without it. Just a tiny bit seems to work well, make sure it's mixed thoroughly and give it a full 24 hours to cure. If the pivot screws are staying put, it's safe to say they're fine as is.
