Hawk Mod

I bought this tomahawk at a gun show in Anaheim about 10 years ago, It has been sitting in my tool box since, just sittin there. I came across some pics of Hawks with mods and decided to give it a try. Im not sure what brand it was the sticker came off long ago

Cool mod. it looks like a cold steel trailhawk.

I thought it might be, but the pics I have seen of the CS Trailhawk have the set screw, but that could have been a design change

Yes the set screw was added to make up for the poor fit of the eye to the handle.
Most guys here will remove the set screw and improve the fit - otherwise it leaves big gouging streaks when the head slips down!
