at the moment i dont yet own any tweeners so my favorite is the bk11. i can use it indoors and outdoors as where the bk2 or larger is something id only use outside. i prefer the 11 over the 14. the 14 has about .25inch longer handle, and thats not enough for me to get 4 fingers on either so the extra little bit of length is surpassed with the unique handle shape of the bk11. But the bk16 or 17 will be my next becker. i normally prefer drop points on my blades, but cant resist the look of the 17.

As for the larger blades or choppers the bk9 would get my vote hands down.

I feel the most versatile and useful beckers would be the tweeners, but as far as looks and strength the bk2 cant be beat in my hands or eyes.

Again this is just my personal choice

well then I guess get the 5 first. Like I said, I don't see either one being discontinued but if one were to get dropped it would be the 5. The 7 is too popular to go away.

Completely understandable, I really do like the look of the tweeners as well but at the moment can't see my self justifying it, maybe once I get my other Beckers I will see I have a gap that needs to be filled somewhere, then I just have an excuse to buy another. I would imagine as you said that the 9 can't be beat for chopping the things looks like a freakin hoss.

Oh yea i definetly understand. i cant justify getting a bk9 and a bk7, or even getting a 14 when i have the 11. but in my head im trying to justify getting a 16 and 17 cus they have different style blades. but unless i hit the lotto (impossible since i dont play) or find a bag of cash on the side of the road, i have to choose 1 knife a month and try and get them to cover my needs in order. but one day id like to collect them all. just might take me a few years is all

Of them all I find the tweeners to be the most useful, the 16 or 17 especially. I have one of all of them, I use the 16 the most.
