Tomahawk -just because!

I would like to get a Tomahawk, and I admit that this has much more to do with Edwood7's posts than any actual use I intend to put it through.

Something with clean lines, good ergos, and G10 or micarta handle material.

At this point, those are the only criteria I have. I just want to see what's out there.

I gave this some more thought last night, and it occured to me that I might have a use for a 'hawk, or something similar, after all.

Explanation:

I'm a town boy, and I don't spend a lot of time getting lost in forests, but I could see the need to get into or out of a crashed car, or a building.

That changes the nature of the question a little, and although it might be better in G&G, I'll ask, anyway.

Would a Tomahawk be appropriate for "urban extrication" (breaching doors, windows, wood frame buildings, car doors)?

I suspect the answer might be no, so what would be better? And it would also be nice if it was something I could carry concealed, or at least, low profile....

Funny thing because I was going through the web last night scoping out Tomahawk
reviews. That's a void in my collection that needs to be filled. I'm leaning more
towards the hickory handle and forged blade. Something more for camping and
back country hiking. But the more I look at the Gränsfors Bruks and watching
reviews on them, the more I'm drawn to their hatchets.

If it's gotta have modern aesthetics and money no object, I'd be looking into the
Graham Knives Rawk Black G10 or Graham Knives Ratchel Line-X Bedliner out of
CPM-3V.

I ordered a Justin Gingrich Renegade tomahawk about a year and a half ago (LOVE IT!) and it's become probably my favorite chopping tool and now I never go camping without it. Good luck!
