    The Original Model 18

Does anyone know what might have happened to the original Model 18 that Bo Randall sent to Capt. Ingraham in Vietnam? From what I have read elsewhere, it was a letter from this officer that prompted the creation of the Model 18.

I have found the current whereabouts of other "famous" Randall knives, such as ones taken into space by astronauts, but haven't been able to uncover anything about this one.

    Maybe someone here knows?

Last I heard author Robert 'Bob' Hunt had it, then sold it - call Bob for more info...

    Thanks, M-P.

I'm afraid to admit I don't know this author. Can you give me any more info about him or what he has written so I can investigate? Thanks again.

I'd search under Robert Hunt - Randall Knives as a start...

    May your Google-fu be strong...

I'm upset that the MoMA Randall 18 is not on display:

Thanks for the info guys. I love the model 18, I'd like to have a whole collection of them. 5.5" 7.5" saw teeth and no saw teeth versions. That would rock.
