Hetty on NCIS polishing a Winkler shortie tomahawk?

Anybody else catch that? Just saw a glimpse but it looked like some sort of stubby Winkler?

Well Danny Trejo character mo definitely had a hawk that looked oftly winklerish as well.

LL Cool J had one when they went to save Blye on the 4/1 episode "spoils of war".

They are pinned down and low on ammo. He whips it out chops it into the dirt next to him.

I dunno about Hetty, but Danny Trejo's was a prop custom made for the show, someone posted a link about it here a week or so ago. Sorry, don't remember the thread title, but it linked to an article showing the design of the prop. The same people also designed a knife for Kinsey(Kensie? whatever her name is).

Yes, it was in somebody's blog IIRC. They did make a short hawk especially for Hetty. Might have been linked from the "Knives of NCIS" thread.

Certainly Sayoc inspired, but not a Winkler it seems.
