Any handles offerable for the BK-11?

I was just wondering if there are any custom makers or whatnot that will be offering scales of any kind for the BK-11? Any thing from G-10 to Micarta to mini Becker scales would be interesting. I ordered 2 BK-11's and am hoping to cordwrap one and make a handle for the other one. I guess the biggest problem i would have is fastening them down, but most custom makers should be to figure out how to fix that problem.

I'm interested too! A set of relatively thin handle slabs would make the BK11 more "people friendly" as well as making the grip more comfortable.

There must be something wrong with me! I like it like it is. I have already played with one at home and while deer hunting. While using it, for the tasks that I would normally expect a knife of that size to handle, the lack of scales didn't even come into play.
BUT! Hey Will, I could go for a stainless model with say, desert ironwood?

Ironwood is an actual wood. There are several varieties of ironwood trees, but they all have an extremely hard wood. It is popular for knife handles because it is attractive and because it is amazingly tough.
