Dude, in case you've missed a point, khukuris are banned in Singapore.. Check with the Singapore AED before you proceed with a purchase to avoid any inconvenience..i am looking for one
wow is the khukuri really banned in SG? is it because the gurkhas in SG are using it?
nope.. that's standard-issue in their case.. Its prohibited for use among civilians. Take a trip to the AED HQ and you'll see a wide range of edged tools banned by the Republic..is it because the gurkhas in SG are using it?
ok, i will pop in todae at the AED hq
Welcome Mad_CirCle ...... hey Samo..... how come you so well verse with the 'exhibits' at the SG AED hq? :footinmou
Been there.. Seen them.. What? Are you implying that I'm the "Usual Suspect" at the AED? Lets just say that I have better intel. The last time you gave the sit-rep, it cost me SGD$100 at the Tuas causeway..hey Samo..... how come you so well verse with the 'exhibits' at the SG AED hq?
Samo ..... still remember eeh??? ....
.... other that the Transport Dept. thing ... it was kinda a good trip ... wasn't it ?? .... got to know you and Kenishiro better ....
Hu The One With The Bright Idea To Ban Kukri.
Because a bent blade is so much more dangerous than a straight one.... apparently.
I learnt long ago not to bother looking for reasoned logic behind anything the government endorses since most of the decision makers are likely to be people who sucked at doing anything remotely productive...
Hey nunchakus are banned too...
