Well I finally got my Urban Raven. Christine had a few left at the Las Vegas show so I made the purchase and chatted with her and the delightful folks at the Simonich table. My son is getting a Kootenai with Gunner Grips when they come out in a few months. Thanks CS and the gang. Kevin Fox

How is the Kootenai/Kootenia different from the Salish?

Her are pics of the two knives. The Salish (right) is a bit smaller than the Kootenai ( LH pic, knife on right) I think. I've not seen one in the flesh.

OK, one is the Urban Raven? Looks more like the Raven Combat to me. What's the other? Pikuni?

It's a "Nighthawk" from Knifeart circa 2001. Talonite and carbon fiber.

Wow. Cool Simonich. I've never seen one before. That thing's TINY. Fills the gap between the Bitteroot and the Pikuni/Crowfoot.

My DLC coated Urban Raven rides with me all the time... I have a couple Simonich knives that I use constantly!! They absolutely ROCK!!!!
