All of you fellows posting here as of the last several weeks have some very no-nonsense and fine sheath knives here!

Enjoyed them all very much.. I've been EDC'n my sheath knives on a daily basis once again for a while now and find they are my go to blades more often than not.

    Best Always,
    Anthony

Nice USAF survival. I've always liked them. What 1911 is that? I"ve had a few of them in my day.

Well, as a matter of fact, that's where I got this one. Hawkeye's Army & Navy in Patterson, NY some 30 years ago.

The 1911 is a Springfield Armory GI Champion.

Anthony, you posted a real nice one of these in this thread about three years ago - here's another Marble's Ideal with the Bakelite pommel, made when aluminum was needed for the war effort.

That is one sweet knife, Berkley.

These old Marbles are real hard to beat!. That looks like the larger version of the one I've got. What size is that blade?

Thanks - it's a five inch blade, like yours. The old Marble's knives were made to last.

Yes, you're correct my Marbles Ideal with the Bakelite pommel is a 5 inch as well. I thought perhaps yours might have been an Ideal with a 6 inch blade like the one at the bottom of this picture shown here..

That's a nice set Campbell! There is a very appealing clean style to all his knives regardless of the pattern.
