Recently received this knife in a lot buy and it is probably one of the most beautiful knives in my collection. It is obviously a United Cutlery product but I would like to have more information about it. I'm thinking it is from the early days of United when it was started by Jim Parker. Anyone know about the age or how many of the Customs were made by United? I think the handles are bone stag? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Hi, I think the knife is from a wildlife series produced by United. The knives I think are two different sizes. I have the mallard as shown, also a raccoon.deer. rattlesnake.and eagle. There is also a bear. I am not sure if there are any others.

Thanks for the info. When and where did you get yours? How old are they?

I bought most of mine on the ebay auctions. They go from 5.00 to 25.00 depending who's interested. Checked boxes for date but could not find one.

Just ran across this knife on ebay looks like the United Custom except for faux damascus and different jig pattern. It is a Parker which makes sense because the United was made in Japan and has surgical steel blades. I'm wondering if the United was made by the Parker folks?? Any opinions?
