Wonderful knife! I like the changes made, especially moving the pen blade around to the mark side.

The matchstrike pull does look great on this pattern, and the rest of the knife is pretty slick as well, obviously. Edited to add that the swedge on the main blade isn't for the faint of heart on the grinding wheel.

This is patterned after an old Ka-bar Texas Jack that has a match-striker pull and the pen blade is behind the clip. The old knife has cam-ended tangs but Tony's pattern has half-stops. Also unlike the original, Tony couldn't make this knife without an extension spring for the pen blade. After all this talk of the old knife, I will have to shoot it and post some pix for comparison.

That knife is perfection. It is really something amazing when you can stare at detailed photos of a handmade knife and every detail just looks right.

I wish more knives came with that extension spring.

    Tony,

I find myself staring at this knife on the screen and marvel at the wonderful craftsmanship on display. My wife says,"What are you looking at, another knife",

this certainly is not just another knife! Man, Tony knows how to cut that ivory, gorgeous! As usual, excellent photos Kerry.

That loooooong clip is just perfect! It fits the knife so well, and looks good standing alone and open. Stuff like that defines the maker as an artist as well as an artisan!
    My compliments, Tony!!
