I'm having a hard time picturing how it would look as a shadow. Would it even be wide enough to get a large pin through?

Well, one might ask,how many shadows do you need ? You know...
But I'm kinda like a clumbsy guy w/ the custom knives & I do carry them & it seems to me,the shadow being lighter & configured for no holding back.Mainly my concern is what ends up in my pockets w/ the knife.

The knives they (Tony & Reese) make in stag bone & Ivory are so gorgeous,I love those too

I wanted to see what others thought
    I asked 2 guys personally,Rick & Scott & both thought I was not nuts

    Right now,I have 3 & one being built & another ordered .

Never ever, had a 3 blade stockman shadow, though. But I have had & handled a few Tony & Reese multi blade folders & I'll say, hands down IMO,I thought they all were the best.

    Very nice pruner Dan.

Vince, didn't we see a shadow stockman by Tony recently? I think BossHoss had one a while back.

    Yes,
I posted pics of the knife a ways back.
Jon had that one,but prior to him owning it,I was offered it in a trade for a Reese knife.I did not do the trade, though. The knife was a 4" size.

I like that smaller size & the blades on it,all 3 & I like the way the tip of the clip is straight.
I like the grippiness of the green canvas, the way T&R Bose finish that,as well

I like the way the two secondary blades lay in the handle, with the main open,it seems practical for a stockman

I like the swedge on the main clip, too

Order it Vince. It would be a great EDC.

Vince, I agree with wagglebee - when I think stockman, I think bolsters. But, it'll be your knife, not mine, so if you like it as a shadow, go for it.

(Of course, if you're ordering it with the intention of it being my knife, I'll be thrilled to carry it no matter how you make it up. )

That's one thing about traditional knives, though,if you remember, some Co.'s made stockmans(aways back in time)with no bolsters, synthetic scales & those "birdseye" pins on opposing ends.

    I can picture it,& I want it!

Speaking of waits, I really need to give Wilfred Works a call. I'm 43 now, it will be a nice 50th birthday present to myself.
