Monday is usually my day off, but duty calls, so I am back in a suit today. That means I need something slender in the pocket.

Yesterday while wearing a suit I carried the Wadsworth sleeveboard pen.

Today I have the Camillus 22 pony jack.

    Here they are together.

Interestingly, the history of both knives traces back to Adolph Kastor.

The pony jack is not as slender as the Wadsworth, but it still carries nicely in suit pants.

That Wadsworth is a truly decent knife, always admired it and single-spring is a big bonus too.

    Regards, Will

Ken Erickson's "Maroon Marauder" stockman in G-10 and CPM-154:

(Probably the single knife which spends the most time in my pocket.)

Elliott, when I grow up, I want to own one of Ken's Stockman! (So writes the 59-year old in Texas!)

That's a worthy aspiration, Ron. Before very long you'll be as old and wise as me...(though I still haven't grown up very much and I'm sure as heck not very wise).

I know what you mean! I've tried it (growing up) several times, but it never works! Guess I'll just stay a "big kid" the rest of my life! I will have to look into eventually owning one of Ken's fine pocketknives! Every time I see a photo of your stockman, it makes me want one!

I was thinking about your goal, Ron, and to whet your appetite I just updated a custom stockman thread I started a few months ago. Should be enough there to get the juices flowing.

(If I can be of any assistance just shoot me a PM.)

It's a John Watts of Sheffield Gevonovich. I picked it up last week (see http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...now-with-pics)!) Not in the best condition I'm afraid, but it has a good edge. I should have photographed it with the blade open really (been one of those days), but there's a pic posted on the thread above.

Be careful what you wish for.

Me too! That Ken Erickson's "Maroon Marauder" stockman knocks my socks off! That good looking shield reminds me of the one I'm sporting today...

I'm afraid my camera leaves a lot to be desired! The two photos are actually taken on the same kitchen table!
