A run of the mill Case XX Sodbuster jr continually finds it's way into my pocket. I don't use it too much, but that walk and talk makes a lightweight slipjoint an easy impulse. Also, it rides atop a skoal tin better than any of my favorite toothpicks or trappers

Why don't you carry your can of Skoal in your back pocket and your sodbuster in your front? Most people I know prefer that method.

being in a land of the sheeple, i'm not allowed to carry a real knife. unless it's under 3 in. & hasn't got a lock, and only if i'm a good boy and never use it. or carry it on a train or subway ('tube' over here ). anyhow, i have a couple that are 'UK Legal', tho if i scare someone with it, i'd be liable for prosecution for use of an offensive weapon.
the one i am carrying today is a UK Navy/Marine issue knife:

Used both knives to "help" carve some pumpkins.

forget where i got that one, but they're still being made in sheffield.

seen a few others 4-sale on other websites. also a 2 bladed one (no marlinspike) which is the proper 'army' one as they don't do fancy knot work much .

It's my edc alongside a smaller canoe whenever I shouldn't bring my cs pocket bushman. A good carbon steel and sharpens to razor sharp on a coffee mug bottom.
