Maxpedition Bottle holder kit, review and pics

I ordered the whole baileywick, this morning... 12x5 Max. bottle holder, Std. Guyot, GSI cup, Mini-Roly Poly, strap... and I just HAD TO buy an Izula.

cup on top kills the problem on the 10"x4" holder or opted for the 12"x5" maxpedition holder and gain a little more room....

Plus you have room in the 12x5 to put a fuel can and burner in it on top to make some hot tea or a soup.

I just did the first mods (drilled lip, split rings & stainless leaders to hang/handle it around fire) on my Guyot to combine with the Max 12x5.

Nice set up.

I don't know how I missed this thread before, but that is a great set up. I would really like something like that for short dayhikes and general just playing with knives walks instead of bringing a whole daypack.

I'll 2nd the larger one too. I think I may have already posted it, but I bought a 10x4 and it was just a little too small in diameter to fit a Vargo Ti mug.

If you have a M-16 mag pouch with alice clip's it will fit nicely and hold a Pelican 1010 case.

I bought a 12x5 this past sunday from LAPolicegear. They had a 15% off orders through the 15th. They must have sold alot of them because the one thing that was back ordered out of all the Max items I bought was the 12x5. At least I'll get the Malaga first. heheheh

BAH! I just canceled my order with LA Police Gear and ordered the bottle holder in black (ya, I changed color too) and some tac ties from Two Wolves Outdoor instead.

I'll worry about a strap later and I won't need your cocoon now Jake. Plus, it's ordering from a forum member on top of it, what I should've done in the first place.

I just got a 12 x 5 from knifeworks, and it looks like there's enough room to stack my Svea 123 under my nalgene/gsi cup. Separated by bandana or two for noise and filtration, of course...
