Joe, Spending the time with your little girls is most important. They won't be little very long and before you know they will be all grown up. The bonds you build with them while there little will be huge when there adults. Who knows they may be taking you along on a hunting trip someday. You can be camp manager if nothing else.

I figured you had a few trophies. Do they have names?

Most of my hobbies are the collecting of things. LPs and books mostly. I also like to spend time in the bush observing wildlife. Used to play a lot of chess, but that has really slowed down over the years.

Growing up in the Ozarks, I have included hunting and fishing as a favorite pastime as long as I can remember. Quail hunting was at the top of the list for years, always had an English Setter or Brittany Spaniel around, and spent a lot of time in the field. With our declining quail population of recent years, training a young dog locally has become a thing of the past. Bummer.

I have done archery (traditional) hunting, muzzlerloader hunting, and occasional trips to the Dakotas for pheasants, but that has slowed down for me lately. I do still rifle hunt some for whitetail, but I live for spring turkey hunting. Missouri supports one of the largest populations of wild turkey in the nation.

I never tire of fishing, large species and small. A group of us go to Lake Guerrero in Mexico annually for largemouth bass fishing, but I enjoy canoeing and wading our beautiful Ozarks streams for rock bass, smallmouth and trout the most.

No more bird dogs, but always have dogs around. Great company and will do anything for you. We have two mutts (outside dogs) that were dumped off on our road, 8 and 4 years ago respectively, who believe they are house dogs. Despite their love for their pillow indoors, they do help tree an occasional squirrel and track an occasional deer.

Joe, I'm glad you're buff and into guns and knives and kill'n stuff... cuz you're gonna have your hands full when the boys start chasing those girls! Definitely three gorgeous little girls. You and RogerP could start your own modeling agency for kids, lol

Man... If I could just have the $$$ you guys all had to spend on the trips and toys pictured in this thread, I'd never have to work!!! (yes, I'm jealous!)

This is a VERY cool thread!!! And no nasty stuff in this thread!

Raymond's right Joe. It will seem like tomarrow that your girls will be doing the world traveling and you will be at home. Mine are there now.

Here's my three daughters, Kaci, Heather and Lauren. They grow up so fast.

Here's my youngest flying through the air @ the 2008 World Cheering Championships. I hate when she does this.

I used to have more hobbies but work, knives, CKCA, training and the girls take up most of my time now. But I do find a little time to relax. Great thread David. Just what we need around here.

I love everything outside. I love hiking... and am fortunate to have a lot of great places to do that here in the Northwest. I grew up fishing, and even worked for a guide as a teenager. (no pics of that on this comp though)

At the top of St. Helens... quite a view!

Joe, when the time comes, just have a long talk with the guys the first time they come to pick them up and let them know just how much those beautiful little girls mean to you.

Having the guns and knives on display won't hurt your cause either.

    Take care buddy.
