It is wonderful. Congratulations. Hardly anything in the realm of bladesmithing is more difficult than a sword like this. My recent collection of smaller composite bar war knives and saxes are evidence of this (failed billet!).
This sword is beautiful in it's simplicity and I love the texture of the ostrich skin.. great choice.
It is a great feeling to bend a long blade like that eh?
edit: also.. looks like you nailed it with weight and POB. These were cutting swords so I believe that 6" is good? Not sure. You would want it closer to the guard on a thruster I believe. Did you check for point of impact?
