After some work with potatoes, the 32087 CV is coming along quite nicely. There is just something about a yeller knife and patina that is right. I usually use a neutral color background for indoor shots, but thought I would try a green one with the yeller handled pen knife.

I just found one of those Schrade Skrimshaws NIB at a local pawn shop last month.

Boker 7474 yellow bone stockman, the scales don't match but that is what I like about it, used it at work for years.
The Imperial Prov. R.I USA, had yellow scales that started to peel, I remember taking them off on the school bus in 5th grade, today they would have called a SWAT team. The bus would drop us off about 3/4 of a mile from home next to a river that had rainbow trout and sunnies, you could always find plastic bags that had corn left from fishermen, and we would fish for sunnies with small hooks and a spool of fishing line that we kept in our school bags. Fond memories.

The yeller Peanut got a workout this past weekend. One of our leaders brought the Troop's bottle rocket launching setup camping with us. Homemade PVC launcher, air compressor and add 2 liter soda bottles, some water, plastic shopping bags, twine, duct tape and cardboard to make nose cones and fins and you have a hootin' good time! The Peanut did cardboard cutting duty, making fins and trimming paper plates for just right nose cones. They have to stay on while the rocket is on the way up but fall off fast to allow the bag "parachute" to come out. The winner is the rocket with the longest hang time. After awhile the guys started making their parachutes bigger, and a senior Scout won with 19 seconds in the air, most of it floating down from a cloudless blue sky.

Hey Stich, that Imperial brings back a lot of fond memories. That was my father's go-to knife. He'd ground down the hook remover to basically make a flat head screw driver. That's the only knife I ever remember him using. He'd buy another every few years when he'd wear it out and I would get the hand-me down. Wish I would have kept at least one of those.
