Here is the descriptive information from the manufacturer:

    CAS Hanwei Vicksburg Bowie Knife

The original of this knife, whose blade carries another version of the “Spanish notch”, was made in about 1836 by the W. & S. Butcher company, whose growth was based almost entirely on sales of its products into the American market. The blade style is indicative of the early production date of this Bowie and the hilt style became known as a “dogbone” grip for obvious reasons.

The Historical Bowie Series from CAS/Hanwei covers both Bowies made in different American States and Bowies made in Sheffield for the American market. Each piece in the series is crafted with a forged high-carbon steel blade, nickel silver fittings and natural grip materials, as were the originals. Each sheath is crafted in top-grain leather and a belt frog, where applicable, is included. Every effort has been made to replicate accurately the details of the original pieces, so as to provide heirloom-quality Bowies to the collector.

The Bagwell bowies are both marked "Ontario USA," The Vicksburg historical replica made by CAS Hanwei is of course from China. You can see the difference in the cost of labor between the two countries, the Ontario knives are beautiful well made factory knives, whereas the Vicksburg Bowie has a handrubbed blade and finely polished NS fittings that can only be achieved with a lot of hand work, the level of fit and finish is comparable to that generally seen on custom knives.

No they are not. The Ontario Bagwell knives are made in USA. The CAS Hanwei knife is made in China.
