It will all depends on the price for me. If the lite Machete comes in way over the price of the Condor Machete then I'll have to go with the Condor because I really don't need a Machete but would like to have one. Same with the Junglas price will dictate if I buy or not. I can't just jump on the band wagon to get them just because their new. With that said they both look to be EXCELLENT pieces.

i agree. the lite machete seems like it would be inexpensive. plus the arrowhead looks inexpensive too!

Just saw this in another thread the price for the Lite Machete is not too bad at 40-50 $ approx. and the arrow heads $12 but no price on the Junglas yet.

Don't know just what Mike posted. $12 for an arrow head I might get one too be cool but not sure what I would use it for. I have a sling shot that shoots regular arrows (two piece arrows also) with any tip needed.

Twelve dollars an arrowhead? Fine with me, but will there be multi-packs available for ambitious types or those who want a size range?

And the machete is THAT low in price? I have no need, but...Hm...What the heck, why not.

You could buy a few of those Tramontinas, which are great btw, but you wont have a mircata handle. Im very surprised RC didnt reground the Lite Machete. A popular fix is a short scandi section on the first 6 inches of the blade (to use as a knife) and a convex edge on the rest of the blade, and then square the spine (to use on a fire steel) but leave the last 5 inches rounded on the spine to hold as a draw knife.

I would just like to say thank you to the Gunners for all the pics and keeping us updated, and managing to still keep your sanity and find time to enjoy yourselves ( I hope!!!) You have definitely helped to keep the anticipation for new products to a bearable level by answering questions and providing the knife porn. Thanks again, and I am sure no one will mind if the badges take a little while to get out, since they are FREE, and you have 3 kids and lives to get back to.

Well, the whole edge is convexed and the entire spine is rounded. All you'd need to do is square a section of the spine and file the scandi section at the base. Shouldn't take you more than an hour--much less if you have a good file.
