That's a beautiful tool, that has emerged from the shrapnel like a Phoenix!
Let me again applaud you, Ken, for making tool knives that appear less "sexy" to some, but more so to me!
Another challenge, and well met!!
Beautiful Ken, I've been watching this build all along and have been really enjoying it. Thanks for sharing.

Having wanting a Texas Jack from Ken for a while (and always changing my mind at the last minute) I was surprised when this Texas Jack came up for sale on the forums last week, and to see it still available when I got home from work, I had to assume it was meant for me. Well it arrived today, and I'm blown away. The size is perfect-3 3/4", the steel is what I would have requested-D2, and the bone color is fantastic-Ken Really did a great job with this one, I'll use the picture he had taken, as I haven't had time to take any myself. BTW, this is going right in my pocket-Enjoy:

As some of you may know, a while back I did a quick poll concerning shipping out my knives in the cheap zippered cases. Thanks everyone for giving their ideas and opinions.
I have made some progress. I wanted to keep things "in house" so I purchased a heavy duty sewing machine and have been teaching myself how to sew.
Here are a few pictures of a simple soft case with Velcro closure. I will be experimenting with different type outer materials and things.(please note, these case are not for sale)

I will say that it seems like a lot of work, Ken, and though I really appreciate where you're coming from in doing this I hope it won't take away too much time from what we all admire you for most.
(Especially if it ever becomes too much of a chore.)
Nobody here, I trust, will ever be disappointed with your going back to a simple zipper case or pouch without all the extra time, effort and expense on your part. Well, I guess I really shouldn't be speaking for anyone else. I certainly won't be. Heck, I was happy enough with the shop towels!![]()

I do enjoy this aspect and while not taking that much time from the shop Nettie has expressed an interest in taking over the case making operation. I like to think my role in this is R&D![]()

That's a really good looking case, Ken.

Ken,
Respectfully, if you are going to offer cases on your knives I think it would be classy to set up a custom embroidery of your makers stamp for the outside fabric cover.
