Well then you'd be happy (as I'm sure you already know) since it's Reese's (and Tony's) stockman pattern that the knife is based on. When Rick first handed me that knife at the show my jaw dropped until I realized he wasn't handing me one he made.

(My first thought was how the heck did I miss getting my mitts on that one. )

    That's funny Elliott.

I am sure Rick will build it real good.
I know Rick is eager to start making two (made alot so far of 2 bladers) & three bladers, and he always tries to do his best. I think we're gonna start to see some great ones coming off Rick's bench. I have never had a knife from Rick, fixed or folder, that when in hand, you could feel it & not deny,he has knifemaker blood in his veins through "n" through.

The stockman is a remington pattern. Premium stock knive is what it was called. Remington c-1, c-5 and c-30 are great remington cutlery catalogs. theyre is a muskrat with the same frame. The two in the southeast corner are 3.5 trappers. Double blade eureka jack which TB gave me the pattern is going to one of the guys that has been posting and in the northwest corner is a future parring knife

That is a cool spread! I am curious about that piece way up in the upper right. Is that a knife pick? Also, what is that above it? Mammoth ivory slabs?

Rick sure knows how to make a knife you just want to put in your hand and put to work!

It's 7 1/4" overall, with a 3 3/8" blade. The perfect size for real world practical use. This ones going into the backpack for some summer camping fun.

    Rick's Creation

This one started out as a Loveless style City Knife, only to get a semi skinner blade
I'd like to name it "How sweet it is"

    That is sweet indeed Vince.

This doggie from Rick was waiting for me when I got home from work. 3 5/8" dogleg shadow with african blackwood. This one came out real CLEAN, smooth all over! Turned a crappy day at work for me into a great day. Thanks a bunch Rick!
