Out of curiosity, why do you have three of the same EDC-type setup? I can't really see a huge deviation in type/purpose of equipment in each of those -- can you explain more about your strategy?

Here's a recent pocket dump from the other day.....

Had just come in from the shop and emptied my pockets onto the desk...
Truck keys, work keys, Kevin King Attaboy, Les George VCEP, a little Kershaw lockback, my beat up Mini Drop Point that I put through the paces for the last couple years, my lucky 1883 Morgan silver dollar, and my Seiko Orange Monster which comes off the wrist and goes into the pocket when I'm grinding.

That's great stuff man! I like light stuff as well, and especially gear that doesn't take much space either.

This is my version of maximum utility and minimal size:

- Kahr PM9 with Uncle Mike's pocket holster
- Vic Classic, Fox 40 micro whistle
- SOG mini Aegis
- Quark 1xRCR123 light with belt holster
- Leatherman Juice S2

This has changed a little and some items aren't shown. But these are the basics.

The knife is a brown FRN Spyderco Delica 4 FFG VG-10. I keep about a 30 degree angle on it for slicing food and light cutting tasks.

The wallet is a leather hybrid from Bigskinny.net. It's less than half the thickness of a traditional leather wallet with the same or even more stuff in it. I love this thing.

The phone is a Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII in a Ringke SLIM Lite case. I love this case.

On my keychain is a SAK Rambler, a Fenix EO5 (awesome little flood light) and a Lacie IAmAKey USB flash drive (8gb).

I removed some of the keys shown here and added a Swiss Tool X. I carry it in it's leather holster on my belt. I also keep an Izula around my neck.
