It really seems that none of us is content with just one XM, that speaks volumes about the design of these knives.

Wow, how do I follow that last post!

I had a weekend away to reflect on things, a bach on the edge of Lake Rotoiti.

    Unwanted guest.

    It was absolute peaceful bliss.

After these nerdy shots I heavily indulged myself in bubbly and hot spa.

The best bit which I didn't capture - a rock face with natural spring to the side of the bach was full of glow worms, it was like looking up at the sky at night.

No customs like the beauties of Jfoley4 (so nice!) but I've got what I need for the moment, let's say almost, a 3" flipper will join them soon and then I really need a custom to complete the family

my latest XM18 3,5" with CTS-XHP stonewashed blade and frame

together with another XM18 3,5" bead-blasted blade and frame

    with CTS-XHP stamp

my Hinderer family "up to now"

Nice lineup Shinman! There's nothing like owning an XM-18 or 24!

Very sweet smooth ti scale. Love the looks of that one.
Been thinking of picking up a smooth ti scale but with the blue or bronze annodized finish.

Guess I can post some photos of my current Hinderer family in here as well. I have one more 3" XM folder coming to add to its brothers pictured here.

Follow the path of least resistance, but if you favor a colored life- take the other road.

Carbon fiber in smooth looks great, textured feels great. I like texture on my users if I can get it.
