Flower of the day...
The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow—
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel now.

Two more I took earlier today.
And two more from yesterday...
PS- That's my good buddy Charlie in the background. Many of the flowers I photograph are his.
Hi Josey Wales -
Nice to see blue-bells and trillium up! The trillium is starting around my parts, that means mushrooms will be coming in a few weeks.
Here is a Gerbera Daisy - I misted it to get the water droplets, I always like that look:
This was some tropical flower leaf planted around a house in Florida, I called this shot "What the Gecko saw".
best regards -

Lots of nice flower images here!
This was interesting to me. I'd never seen an artichoke in bloom, nor did I know that there is only one species of artichoke the world over.
What really amazed me was the sexual orgy going on inside the flower. Look closely.
Shot with a little Canon A-590.
since matt posted a picture of his day lilly i thought i would post a tiger Lilly

There is no going back. If you find that you're comfortable where you were, it's because you never really left.
