    Great looking beast!

    Are you able to machine a distal taper on a blade blank?

    When you're at Blade, check out the large choppers and fighters made by the forgers in the American Bladesmith section. Thick at the ricasso, and taper in both directions. Large blades that just have a wonderful balance and feel in the hand.

    I held out as long as I could. 1500. to rebuild the tranny, washing machine went south and we got hit with some unexpected vet bills. As peppercorn said, at least you have your health. So, it could be worse. I can't hang onto this when the family needs funds.
