Kiah you had me with APC and TOOL (the latter being one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time and the other not too far behind)...but now this.....The Black Keys!!!! Since their first album came out around 9 years ago they have risen to be one of my favorite bands ever, and have been at the #1 spot for a long while (though TOOL kicks them out for a week or two every now and then). I like the blues, JR Kimbrough, RL Burnside, T-Model Ford, but have always prefered hard rock so the Black Keys are the best of both worlds. Can't wait to go see them on July 6th.

keep up with the killer tunes!

Yeah, I just heard about 'em a few days ago. They do seem to kick a pretty good amount of ass.

Kiah you should check out more of The Black Keys for sure. Being a Tool/APC fan, you ever listen to any of Maynard's Puscifer stuff, it puts me in a trance its some different stuff. Speaking of APC their at Lollapalooza this year...gotta see them again. Love this thread...mixing my passion of knives with my love of music!

I've been listening to them quite a bit the last couple days. Quickly becoming a favorite.

Puscifer is a great project. It's all over the place, but I like that. The Humbling River is an awesome song, but so are Vagina Mine, Rev, etc. Just completely different. Anything Maynard does is gold though.

Feel free to post up some stuff, bro. Always looking for new tunes.

Good stuff bro. Love the rhythm on that Woodkid song. Will check 'em out.

Just listening to my favorite song and realized I hadn't actually posted it in this thread.

No rhyme or reason, just what's coming through the headphones right now.

    of course:

Working late always gets me in the trip-hop / low key alternative / downtempo / ambient mood.

Good stuff. Need to listen through them more. I did learn that when you type "Massive Attack" into Youtube though, the first result will make your ears bleed.

    Anyways.
