i have seen some knives from sog and cold steel..
I have started watching this survival show called Man, Woman, Wild on Discovery and actually like it. Every week they seem to have a new blade. Wonder what they have used?

I'm surprised I haven't seen the Hawke's Hellion Survivor 2020:

Not sure about it...
I have seen a SOG Jungle Primative Bowie, Cold Steel SRK, and some sort of Ghurka Kukri by Cold Steel I believe..
I watched it last night and he had the Hellion on him. He should as he designed it! I have also seen him with the CS Kukuri. keepem sharp
the premise of the show is fine...but "Man" has poor camera presence; he may be an Operator and good guy, but what a drone...can't watch the show because of it...
Yep - last night he was using his signature blade. I think I like his previous CS choices better but then I'm not the guy out there doing the show.
Last night they each had one of his signature ones.
any idea which knife he was using in the most recent episode: "Utah"?

Just finished watching some episodes. The one in the desert, he was using a fehrman. Looked like the 7" blade First Strike. She had a knife on her as well. I did not get a really good look but I think she may have had a ESEE 3. Not sure if this is the same episode as Utah. They were near the Colorado River.
He gives the knives used in each episode on his blog.

I like that show too, but they definately aren't Bear Grylls.
I believe ESEE confirmed Mrs. Hawke had an RC-4 w Molle back. Thanks for the input.

He just updated his blog for last nights Utah episode.
Mykel: Ferhman Fierce knives
Ruth: Ferhman Fierce knives
in his blog he says that they have to use different knives on each episode, does anyone now the reason behind that?
