Yeah it is a bit slow around here lately. I just lost my furry friend Jesse to Chronic Renal Failure today. That cat will be missed.

That shot of you with the waki is pretty awesome, AND it makes me regret yet again selling my waki.

White water rafting looks fun as hell. Where did you guys do it?

Haha yeah, at Big Sur one of the guys camping with us is a photographer so he brought his DSLR. Waki is a fun sword, I think it's a good size overall. Looking forward to one day when Ban makes his swords.

Rafting was super fun! We went to Gold Rush past Sacramento and did the Chili Bar Run (LINK). We had a great guide that took us to exciting sections of the river.

Nice!! Sequoia National Park looks gorgeous! I'm going to Maui with the girlfriend in about a month and they're suppose to have some really nice hikes. If you have intel on Maui, please share.

Hmm, I'll ask my GF, she's been to maui more recently than I have.

Just got back from another backpacking trip in Big Basin with a colleague. I'll be in HI myself (O‘ahu though) the week after this coming one, for a week. Looking forward to some nice beach time.
