Not yet, but i think i'll like the bigger frame size of the 617 and SP101. Don't plan on carrying it so size isn't an issue. Just want something fun and cheap to shoot.
Going to keep my eyes out for a used one since new ones expensive.
That 617 is very nice as well. Have you looked into the SW kit gun?

You NEED both a pocketable field wheelgun and a nice larger target revolver![]()
hahah and without a doubt I'll have both someday, but we live in California, 30 day wait between each pistol. Have to prioritize.
but...you know what I could use before the revolvers? a custom BT santoku!hahah
All you guys with your multiple guns, and I'm still saving up for the first, haha.
That 617 looks pretty but dam they arent cheap. Just took off the mag disconnect on my LC9, much happier with it now. Im thinking next gun is a CCO size 1911, commander slide on an officers frame.
A CCO sized 1911 would be pretty slick. I would probably want something even a bit smaller like the colt defender.
you know how it is with us gear guys, nothing ends at just one haha.
yeah they are...i might try and find an older model (read it's better quality) charter arms pathfinder 4" .22lr: http://www.charterfirearms.com/produ...der_72240.html. Glad you removed the mag disconnect, that the first thing I'd do with anything that comes with that stupid "safety" too. Good choice, I'd want a standard size 1911 first (like your Valor), then one of the compact variants too, or the 9mm 1911 Springfield EMP![]()
BOOM! First time I've heard thunder in the Bay Area for at least a couple of years....
Awesome shot.
yeah, so much thunder yesterday, woke me up a bunch of times. and that's a great picture!!
Wow, that is spectacular.
Must be attracted to lighting rods at the top of the towers.
WOW, that's awesome!
I haven't been in a good thunderstorm for a while. (Though there was some thunder this winter during a snowstorm -- different from regular thunder, or so I am told)
Decided to stay in tonight while the girlfriend goes out. Going to clean my guns and watch Infernal Affairs, the Hong Kong film they recreated in the US aka The Departed.

Hmm or maybe i'll watch a documentary on the legendary Isle of Man TT race. It's the last true road race and greatest motorcycle race ever! I'd love to see the event live someday...

Ban are you gonna make it to Atlanta this year???
I recently did a quick solo overnight camp trip to try out the Silky Saw. I dig it.
Those trees look interesting. Looks to be in a swamp like environment. Those Silky saws are really nice. I use the smaller extra fine teeth ones for carpentry work all the time. For outdoors use I really like the ultralight and efficient cutting Gerber Saw. They cut just as well if not better than a similar sized Silky. They are also lighter to boot.
