To my surprise, it was her idea to buy these blades, but she thought the spines needed to be "rounded". So, I told her don't ask to borrow my JK blades (with squared spines) if she ever has to create sparks with her FireSteel.... Seriously though, she wanted these blades for the kitchen. And, that is probably where they will stay because I'm not sure how seriously I could be taken if I were caught in the woods bushcrafting with "aqua" handles....

Mountaineer HD in tan canvas with black liners for Riverwarrior.

In it`s concealex sheath, for either vertical or horizontal carry.

Scout Jr. The guy who ordered this is planning on using it in a Dave Canterbury class he is registered in. It will have both a leather and concealex sheath.

Glad to see that a JK blade will be used in Dave C's upcoming class..

Can't wait to get my hands on the fat "Mountaineer" (3/16" thick). I've got a feeling this one won't leave my side!!

Not a BF member. That micarta really stinks when grinding!

How well does it glow? I have a necker with Fod's glow in the dark G10 and it is really bright. Glows for quite a while too.
