    Sting Knife-Thickness?

Hey, I was just on the site and saw the sting knife. Seems like a pretty good deal, I like the blade shape, handle shape and most of all price. I have had moras before, so I am no stranger to thin blades. 0.08" is about as thin as I would go. On the leather handled sting the thickness is .13", and on the birch handle it is 1/16". Is that correct?

And also, it didn't list the steel but I'll assume its that same 440c-like steel right? And also , does any one own the sting and do you like it?

Thanks, I really like the looks of the rosarms knives but the Sting really sticks out for me.

Here is info about the steel:

    http://www.rosarmsusa.com/design.html

It is not 440C. Hard to say, close to BG-42 I think

Sting model thickness is 3.2 mm officially from certificate.

Of course because all knives are handmade it may vary BUT never thinner then 3 mm.

So information here is correct: http://www.rosarmsusa.com/knives/hunting/sting.html
