For me, I have a 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs 5spd. I love subarus and have had pretty good luck with the car til recently. The car started reving by itself when I push in the clutch or the car is in neutral.

i took it into the dealership and they have 1. Flashed the ECU 2. Replaced the clutch postion switch thing or another 3. New throttle body. And none of it has worked, luckily the only thing they have charged me for is $40 for flashing the ECU. Its been at the dealership for about a month now and cant figure it out and Ive been losing faith.

They called this past wednesday and said that they are flying out a "Subaru Engineer" this week to diagnosis the problem! How about that for service!

how hight does it rev? does this only happen when the car is warming up?

Cool thread, loving all the jeeps and that power wagon!

    Heres my rig:

    2008 wrangler unlimited Rubicon nsg-370 6spd (4.46 1st gear, 4.10s, and a 4:1 low tc gives it a 73.144 Crawl ratio.)
The Rubicon package gives it the 4.10s, f&r dana 44s, front sway bar disco, rock rails, 32" bfg mud terrains, the nv241-OR case, etc.

I installed an AEV 3.5" lift, a smittybilt front bumper, and some PIAA fogs. It needs tires and rims bad but ill run the stockers through the winter.

Thought I would give an update on my ride. Its the biggest reason I haven't been on or getting any knives lately.

The RT is really a special motorcycle isn't it - Light - Fast - Loves the twisty's -But we have so many choices today it's great - A few weeks ago I did a 1,300 miler to Las Vegas & back on the RT - I was in wind - snow - rain - and my RT got me there & back in comfort & I had a grin on my face just about the whole trip!

I'll never part with my old R65 airhead - If folks only knew how much fun these bike offer - I ride it a couple times a week - sometimes a lot more than that - I get a lot of thumbs up - Sometimes these old girls can be picked up for 2,500 bucks - for that 2,500 you get 100 grand woth of fun! - I paid 2,200 for mine - tom

At the moment I'm driving either a pair of Bates 9" steel toe combats or Chuck Taylors, depending on the day.

Yup. You got a good eye there. That knife and those boots are long gone. I'm wearing Corcoran side zip jump boots pretty much every day.

Never have to smog her. Easy to find in a parking lot. Able to tow an M1 Abrams in an emergency.
I miss my old Torino so bad!!!!

I grew up driving a 1973 4 door. Gold paint and gold wheels. Brown interior. Loved that thing like a baby. While I was out of the country, my dad gave it to my cousin (for $100!!!!!!!!!). He drove if for a while, then sold it for a bunch more, and the person who bought it re sold it, and it ended up as a crash up derby car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now I drive a 2007 Xterra, and a Ford E-350 (just bought this one for some more room........even though we only have 2 kids).

    My first car

Just got rid of the shitty stock wheels with hubcaps.

Would love to have a Mk4 Toyota Supra once I get my full license and don't have to deal with the retarded vehicle restrictions.

You forgot the most important part of the RUBICON PKG---electronic locking front & rear differentials.

I'd love to put a Klune-V in my Power Wagon, for UniMog-like gearing.
