    indgo buntings are really blue but blue birds are great

    mine are not hanging around yet i hope to get a good pic or 2 this year (that one is great )

    Ebbtide....Thanks for the laugh I needed one. I have about ten shots of this beautiful King Fisher. She just sat there looking at me. Then decided she had enough and fell backwards and I got one of the best shots ever. Then flew off so fast it was incredible. There was two of them ( mated pair?)that flew in super fast and then split off and this one landed about ten feet from me. Just magical birds. I'll never forget it.

    Those things are hard to get flight pictures of, they're like fighter jets. I'm pretty sure that's what this was supposed to be.

    That looks like one and is much better than the two shots ( that were delete'rs ) of them on the way in. Way to blurry. I really want some in flight pics, as they look spectacular in flight.
