I do custom work on Buck knives mostly but I do work on others also. I do handles, filework on backsprings/rockers/bolsters, blade swaps, and cleaning and sharpening. You can see my work under customized Buck Knives at www.arksknives.com .

    Hi Eric,

I've been putting handles on blade blanks that I've purchased from catelogs for the past couple of years. I'm now interested in having a custom finished blank blade made to order so that I can finish the knife with the handle. Can you or assist with this or direct me to someone who can?

    Thanks for your help.

I don't do that kind of work but there are a lot here on the forums that do.
    Thanks,
    Eric

I've been waiting for Eric to answer because I didn't want to hijack his thread. Now that he has declined I may be interested. Could you give more details such as type of blank, choice of steel, and degree of finish. Thanks,

    Darrin

Hey do you have any examples of your work up anywhere? Could you make a pair of red micarta handles in the same shape as the original black aluminum ones, and a vine-pattern metal fileworked backspacer for an Mtech 317 stiletto, if so, about how much would it cost me? I'm aware its an extremely cheap knife... I love this knife model, don't hate.
