The Woodlore 3V in Ironwood arrived today and it does feel good in the hand. Outstanding -- should make a great carving tool.

Out of interest, Is the Arizona Desert Ironwood you use Stabilized at all or natural?

All natural. You can't submit Ironwood to stabilizing - it won't take it and it doesn't improve it. All natural is best.

Please clarify if the Cocobolo you use is stabilized at all or all natural?

Same thing with cocobolo - can't and shouldn't be stabilized. It is very oily. It is naturally stable.

And now you've figured out why these 2 exotic hardwoods are the only woods I use anymore.

My cocobolo woodlore psk arrived today.
Just wanted to say that I am very happy with it! Everything on this knife feels right, the handle shape/size/conture is sublime, the best i have head in any knife.
Great workmanship and outstanding design.
