I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know where some of these models are approaching the 40 number cutoff...

Here are the ones that are getting close:

Bush Operator: NO SPOTS LEFT!! ALL DONE!!!!

Bush Operator XL: 1 spot left

    Delta Foxtrot: 15 spots left

    Pocket Kilo: 6 spots left

When those hit 40, that's it. These numbers include all current dibs. If anyone wants to make sure they have dibs on one before they run out, you might want to let me know.

By the way, I'm not saying why, but these knives might be a little more "in demand" by next year. Not sayin why.

Can't wait to find out what's going on, Dylan.

I'm gonna have my people find out about all this "Secret Squirrel" activity, so you might as well go ahead and spill it Dylan.....we won't tell anybody..

Congrats brother. Sounds like a great opportunity is in the works!

Dylan if they are looking for any extras I am a regular run of the mill short overweight white guy. I mean heck look what Dirty Harry did for Smith and Wesson. Now I believe it is time for some more swag. I need a bad ass bandanna and a patch. Shoot I hope I didn't ruin the surprise but I am kinda a soopersluth you know.

If I guess correctly do I get banned from getting a Fletcher blade?

I am going to guess that FK is working out a deal between knivesshipfree.com and Bark River to sell some production Fletcher blades made by Bark River and as well as custom models made by Dylan himself.

You are incorrect sir. Good guess though.

Damn. I guess I'll stop holding my breath and get on the list like everyone else. I love your blades. Any chance you'll ever make a knife that allows the kuro-uchi finish to remain all the way to the secondary bevel?

A few questions then if you don't mind:

Do you have a shot of a Bush Operator next to a BOXL?
What kind of timeline are we looking at? Are you going to finish all of these before the top-secret time?

Thanks, I'd really like to get in on one of these but I won't be able to afford it by August 3rd.

Actually I don't. My personal BOXL is out of town at the moment.

You don't have to worry about needing to afford it anytime soon. I only have a couple of weeks left before the super secret mission. Other than that, I'm not sure on the timeline. Usually I get knives finished for dibs within 3 months of getting the dibs request. It can vary though. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later.

Once the 40 cutoffs start happening, I'd love to see a full blade kuro-uchi finish like a Takeda gyuto. Maybe a lower profile version of the BO? Pretty please??

Kind of tempted to switch one of my dibs from a Delta 4 to either a Delta Foxtrot or a BOXL. Is that doable Dylan?
