thanks war, moose! (factory - I wish!) I can't match the paint so some regular metal paint had to do. Much stickier and shinier than normal.
Feels real good atm but I won't really know until I go out and use it.

Honestly, there was a post on BF in the General Forum last week asking what kind of steel it was made of. I replied with the steel type and said that I wish they still made them. The OP pm'd me after that and asked if I wanted it, so we worked a trade. It literally just fell in my lap. I'd been watching for one for quite some time.

Yep. Wasn't there a short kabar that had a recurve blade too? I think there was, it was a 5.25" blade. If I can find one of those, then I'd have small, medium, large.
