or is it a short, modern version of Exscalibur? funny shot, lol
Here's a couple of my Kabars, with their siblings. They're 'spooning' in their little warm drawer as I type.
The #598 I just got last week, and Toooj was nice enough to help with info on it. These five are my favorite outdoors knives.
Buck 119 (Pre-1986); Cattaraugus 225Q (WWII era); Kabar 598 (1940's era); Kabar 1273 KBD-1; Becker/Camillus BK7.

The new (old) Kabar 598 is going camping & hiking a lot this next year. My old Becker will be there on standby, but I can't wait to try out that old 598 on various camp chores.

Whatever you do, never, EVER make fun of the soldering iron of justice.
My first real knife was a Ka-Bar 1184 that was stolen...since then I have picked up a few to replace it.

Ka-bar short black fighter. Custom “Kar-bar” job by Florida knife maker, John H Davis. Note: they aren’t kidding when they say the short Ka-bar fighter’s handle is small. I have smallish hands, and this handle even feels tiny to me. That aside, great knife, even better with the Kar-bar mod…
