Anyone from Vermont?

So I just moved up to northern Vermont (about 30 minutes northeast of Burlington) and I was wondering if any of you guys live up here?

I'd love to do some hiking before the summer is out and if anyone could show me some trails and help me to practice my bushcraft I'd be the happiest guy on earth.

I am 30 minutes Northeast of Burlington. I can offer advice on hiking trails in Northern Vt. Bushcraft....not so much.

My mother was from Newport and I have spent parts of 40+ summers on Lake Memphremagog.

Lots of good hiking opportunities, but my hiking phase was thirty years ago. The border is just a tad more secure now. <bg>
