    Hand Engraver

Though i've grown a big interest in making knives i've been a engraver for about a year and half now. Though I don't have much work to display currently but my design skills are not that far off to those considered to be some of the best. A majority of my work are Zippo engravings for some local politicians and gentlemen clubs, but I'm interested in engraving knives now and willing to workout a good price for anyone willing to give me a chance . I figured for a new and upcoming knife maker wouldn't mind an upcoming engraving to work with.

Pictures of some of my work

    Mountain lion with progress shots.

Though zippo's are a little bigger than some bolsters I can still produce the same high quality image on a smaller canvas.

Bulino tiger with some scroll work

Though this doesn't really represent my full capablities as scroll engraver this was my very first knife, a little spyderco dragonfly.

It was done for my father on fathers day. I am much more intricate and detailed now when it comes to scroll work. My artistry in scrolls is also developed very well.

A slide design i did for a family member. Top design is german leaf and bottom design is black leaf.

Is anyone is interested please contact me

    Thank you.

BEAUTIFUL I love them all, especially the Cougar (for obvious reasons). Can you PM me some pricing for what you have here so I have an idea what something like this costs?

    Andrew?
    Your engraving is fantastic!!!!
I have a dagger that I should have finished eons ago! When I do get around to finishing it I would love to have it engraved!!!
May I ask where you are?
You might want to consider posting your city and state, and let folks know your name.
People are going to want to feel like they know you before they put a $500 hand made knife in you hand!
I think you're gonna be real popular around here!!

Thought i'd give you guys an update on my personal work. I did this on my spare time to get some scroll work practice done, I uploaded the process from step 1 all the way to finished . Pictures aren't great quality due to it being from my phone but you will see the detail.

Drew the outline out on paper

Scanned the design to the pc and printed it on parchment paper measuring exact size.

Here i use damar varnish on the zippo for stickness, than apply the outline

Here i have outlined the design on the zippo

Here i shaded the design to follow it when doing the shading

And here it is, just gotta finish the bottom left and it will be good to go.

Overall probably 10-15 hours. I hope you all enjoy it.
