    ArmyTek Predator flashlight passaround?

I'm looking into organizing a passaround for a new flashlight developed in Canada by Armytek Optoelectronics Inc.
It's a LED flashlight with a Cree XP-G LED, with programmable user interface. It's an improved version (Ver 1.2) of their first product.
    Looks like this:

    Specs: http://armytek.com/armytek_predator.html

Please let me know if you're interested. These flashlight work with the following batteries: 2xCR123A, 2xRCR123 Li-Ion, 1x18650 Li-Ion, or 1x18650 LiFePO4 (thanks Moshow9 for clarifying this issue).

    cheers,
    Cristian

I'm going to assume the video was legit with no "special effects". When I started watching I did'nt expect to be impressed. Expectation went up in smoke. I couldn't see the caliber he shot it with but the magazine was wide enough not to be a pistol round....If true, this is amazing..... The light easily survived. Plus all the other abuse the light took and still kept on functioning without a problem.

cristi01, yours is a version 1.2 correct? How is the beam profile on it? I had read these had a donut in the beam.

I think beam aside, it is also important to note that the Predator is fully programmable and not limited to running off only an 18650 battery. In all it will run off the following: 2xCR123A, 2xRCR123 Li-Ion, 1x18650 Li-Ion, or 1x18650 LiFePO4.

One of the more versatile lights I have come across and one of my favorites. Good luck on the passaround.

I have a fist full of 18650s and a couple of Fenix lights available for comparison. It might be fun to play with a new flashlight and offer an opinion of it, even if I don't plan to buy one. If you want to get this going, I'd be happy to send an UltraFire 2400mAh cell along with it, if it should get around to me. I don't have a spare charger at this time, though.

Beware the fury of a patient man. . .

Very nice of you to get a pass around going.
Great way for folks to really try something before
spending hard earned money on something that may wind up in the nightstand drawer.

I never heard of this light before so I did a lot of reading.
Looks great except it seems like you need a Kolledge Degree
    to program it

As for the pass around, not for me. I dont like the responsibility of
shipping and handling someone else's property.
    Thanks though!

That's a Saiga 12guage he shot it with. If this is true that's an amazing light.
