    Passaround - Zero Tolerance 0551 / Kershaw Tilt +

    The list is closed.

    -----------------

First....A HUGE thanks to Thomas W (Director of Sales and Marketing KAI USA) for making this happen. His contributions on this forum and elsewhere are very much appreciated by anyone paying attention. I'm very much looking forward to meeting you at Blade this year.

I also want to thank a few dealers here for their help and contributions to this passaround......2bkc, jonnymac44 and last but certainly not least, kershawguy. Mike and Jason, Jon and Dave...you guys are like....family.

ZT 0551 / Hinderer Design / Made in the USA
    - Stonewashed Elmax blade.
    - ambidextrous thumb stud.
    - 6AL4V titanium frame-lock with a front handle scale of G-10.
    - pocket clip is quad carry...tip up or down on either side of the knife.

Kershaw Tilt / Made in the USA
    - Composite blade with Udderholm Vanax 75 as the cutting edge.
    - Flipper using KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology)
    - Titanium Frame Lock with Frame Limiter Technology with a front scale of carbon fiber.
    - Titanium Pocket clip

Kershaw Talon II (1425) / Made in the USA
    - Sandvik 14C28N, bead-blasted finish.
    - Liner locking A/O via a flipper. To be clear, this knife has "thumb studs" but they are not for opening the knife. They are present as blade stops only.
    - 3-way adjustable pocket clip.
    - Textured G-10 handle

Kershaw Volt II (3650) / RJ Martin Design / Made in China
    - 8CR13MOV, bead-blasted finish.
    - Liner locking A/O via a flipper.
    - Tip up or down pocket clip.
    - Black injection-molded Polyimide handle

Kershaw Random Task II (1515) / Ken Onion / Made in the USA
    - Sandvik 14C28N, stonewashed finish
    - Liner locking A/O
    - Reversible pocket clip
    - G-10 handle

Kershaw Tremor (1950) / Made in China
    - 8CR13MOV, stone washed finish
    - Liner locker A/O
    - Tip up or down clip
    - G-10 handle

I'll probably add one more knife....yet to be determined. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

    On to the administrative details.

Special Note: You must be a member for at least 6 months AND be some level of paying membership.

I was in on the last round, and recommend it to anyone interested in the ZT and Kershaw lineup. It was one of the best passarounds I've participated in.

I have a Tilt but I'm reluctant to put it in a passaround....it's still NIB. I'm being a sissy about using it.

I'd like to get in on this one.

A Tilt would be awesome, I've been wanting to try one out.

    The list has been updated.

As to the Tilt, if I had 2 I would gladly put one in this passaround. I only have one and haven't decided if I'm going to use it yet. It is still minty fresh and won't be included in this passaround. I'm still deciding what other knives will be included.

I'd love to play with a Tilt, but I can't blame you for not wanting to have 10 other people handle it. Might as well pass around your 18 year old daughter.

I was lucky enough to handle both of those and they are well worth the wait. The 777 is simply amazing. The Speedform II is a definite possibility. I'm also considering a Tremor or a Turbulence.

Another update. As it stands now, the knives that will be included in this passaround will be:

The Tremor was added due to kershawguy's generosity. Dave donated the Tremor to this passaround. Dave (kershawguy) is a dealer here on Bladeforums and always has sale threads open in the dealer section of the Exchange. Check him out for some great deals on ZT and Kershaw knives.

    1. ZT 0551
    2. Kershaw Talon II (1425)
    3. Kershaw Volt II (3650)
    4. Kershaw Tremor (1950)

Maybe more....the pouch I ship these in has 5 or 6 separate pouches...might as well fill it up.

Hell, I have an XXXX Tilt I'll throw over to you Jason. You can put it on the passaround. Dispose of it as you wish once it's all over.

    I'll get it out tomorrow.

That's so awesome Thomas...thanks! The blem Tilt will become another permanent Bladeforums passaround knife just like the ZT 0551.
