Just getting a feeling for what everyone feels;

Should a tek-lok be included in the advertised price of a kydex sheath ?

I would like a listed base price (sheath only) and then a price list of all the add-ons.

I have a ton of tek loks and assorted loops and carry options around and I usually end up asking what your price would be sans carry option.

Off topic, I saw your B6 sheaths and I am really looking forward to getting my SYCKO 711 and a set up like that one!

Agree like to see them as an option.
I actually see them as a sales tool. If you purchase in bulk and can pass some of that savings onto the consumer, it would keep me coming back.

so it is 50/50 right now.

I thought most liked them included in the price and not a 10.00 to 15.00 ( I had a customer tell me this) mark up after you agree to get the sheath.

I have always felt adding it on and not posting what the cost was going to be, dishonest.

Tec-locs are now made in China, they were made in Taiwan for a bit, sad I think.

Buy Brown has always included a tec-loc for 11 years.

I have not purchased one of your sheaths yet, but I noticed that techloks were included and if I decide to purchase kydex instead I leather, I would choose buy brown because out of the box I have a way to carry the knife. After all, that is why I am purchasing a sheath.

In over 11 years of making sheaths I would say that at best 5% of folks have not wanted the tec-loc, so why the lack of it in the advertised price of some sheaths ?

What do the others charge for one ? 10.00 ? 15.00 ? more ?

Typically what I've seen is the tek-lok adds $10 to the sheath's overall cost. I like that you include one in the price, if they don't want it the buyer should make it clear when they order.

My preference is to include it in the price. May depend on small TL vs. Large TL, but included is definitely my preference. THanks for asking!

I would prefer the option, for no other reason than having to remove one of mine to install or having to purchase one to use. Convenience is key I think. I would rather pay you for the option than another vendor. It also lets people know that your sheathes are set up for standard tek lok spacing for a given size tek lok.

I havent ordered from you YET (saw the sell, will be ordering!) but i like you include them. you have stated before if the buyer doesnt want it, you will take off the order plus discount which is fine. your prices as is are good enough without the lok. dont try to fix what isnt broken.
